  3. I see your point, but I think some web designers do take these things into consideration. Before you have a site designed you should ask a designer what they know about web design in relation to seo. Do some prior research so you can tell of they’re telling the truth.

    A website needs a balance between looking good, being good for the search engines, and being useful and easy to read for visitors to the site.

Marketing specialists I’m sure would be good at meeting the goals for conversion on a website … as well as some on-site SEO, but … there is a lot of work that goes into getting ranked number one for a highly competitive keyword that would result in good traffic. Are specialists willing to put that kind of work and effort into the marketing of a website after it is already up and running? I’ve seen SEO firms charge as much as $10,000 to get a site ranked for good keywords.

  7. Sure the site look is very important, in some cases it’s more important than the content itself because if it’s catchy then people like to stay a little longer on your site. As far as I am concerned I plan to go the hard way with web content, I need quality content and I am not making any compromises here.
