I was preparing for a speech I gave at my Toastmasters meeting yesterday. I started to make a list of all the jobs or businesses I’ve had that I’ve been compensated for one way or another.
Since this list is so long, I’ll bold the ones that I held for one year or longer. There’s too many for me to try to order them chronologically. Some I can’t remember when I started or stopped exactly.
The total count comes to 43 though I lumped several of the same things together (ie. pizza delivery for different companies or temporary clerical work).

- Realtor – 3 years
- House cleaning
- Scored standardized test essays
- Misc clerical temp work
- Lawn care
- Army Airborne Medic – 1 year
- Texas Army National Guard – officer candidate – 2 years
- Substitute teacher – all subjects and ages
- Clinical trial participant
- Home remodeling
- House sitting
- Middle school math teacher (a year when including subbing)
- Proofreader – textbooks and paperbacks
- Fact checker
- Soccer coach
- Telemarketing
- XBox 360 technical support
- Satellite TV service sales
- Yahoo classified ads sales
- Ghost writing articles and blog posts (not paid)
- Created several websites (including this one)

Wow man that is quite the list there. You must have some interesting stories after doing all of that. I hope IM is going well for you, if your doing things right this should be the end of the road as far as jobs go =)
I thought that I am the only person who changes his job each year but you are champ. I think it is a wonderful thing to have all those experiences but I like Blogging is the best job for anyone on this planet.
Oh my Gosh! I can’t believe to see all your jobs. I hardly know a few people who switched their profession 3 or 4 times and you did it 43 times. That is hilarious.
That is nice man you are done 43 jobs and you have a enough knowledge of all the fields that is amazing. According to me blogging is a nice job for any one on this earth.
43 jobs! Oh my! You’ve got a great experience list on your resume which can impress any employer. Great going buddy! It does highlight the fact again that Human Mind is capable of everything, you can learn and can perform anything you’re willing to do.
